Notes
This is a simple cocktail to make. The trick is for it to be very cold so use plenty of ice in the shaker.
If you aren't lucky enough to live within driving distance of Parker County, or it happens to be a part of the year when peaches are not in season then you can use canned or frozen peaches in this recipe.
Control the amount of sweetness by using ginger beer, club soda, or a mix of the two.
You can make up a big batch of the cocktail mixture without the ginger ale or club soda and keep it in the refrigerator. Just add your mixer to each glass.
The round ice cubes work particularly well with this drink.
If you don't have St. Germain you can use a little splash of Triple Sec or just use more Peach Schnapps or Jack Daniels depending on your tastes.
I prefer a spicy ginger ale with this - like the Jamaican ginger ale you can get at specialty stores.
