📅 Food Holidays
We celebrate a couple of fun food holidays this week. They're silly little holidays but it gives us an opportunity to make some memories and have some fun!
- October 1 is National Pumpkin Spice Day - a good time to have this Pumpkin Baked Oatmeal for breakfast and start the day (and the month) right!
- October 4 is National Taco Day. There are so many ways to get that great taco flavor but this easy taco pizza recipe is my favorite.
- The pizza dough keeps in the refrigerator for a week. It's so easy my grandson makes his own pizzas and he's just 4. It's fabulous for family movie night!
- Use the pizza dough to make breakfast pizzas with scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese.
- Double the breadsticks and save half for the million dollar spaghetti night.
- A little leftover Santa Fe Chicken? Add some chicken stock and a can of Rotel tomatoes and warm it up for a great soup supper!
