- Use lemon extract instead of water, then add 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds for lemon poppy seed chaffle!
- For a chocolate chaffle add 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder and a tablespoon of your favorite low-carb sweetener to the batter for sweet dessert chaffles.
- Powdered peanut butter also tastes great when added to the batter!

Laurie- If you've used the DASH waffle maker that I suggest spraying it will make it soggy. The best waffle maker for this recipe is one that is ceramic no stick.. as I recommended. I did not try this recipe with another kind.
