I love Pasta Primavera. It is light, flavorful, and really fast. Can you ask for more? I don’t think so! The only thing I thought it was missing is a little “bite-cha-back. You know what I mean.

Usually when a publisher or publicist contacts me to do a book review on Baking Delights it is about an up and coming cookbook. I always enjoy reviewing books, I mean seriously, if I was really smart I would have a book review blog so people would send me tons and tons of free reading material..
But I don’t. I have this awesome cooking blog with awesome readers and once in awhile I get sent awesome books. This was one of those times.

And I am evening getting it posted on Saturday this time!
It is spring here. I know that some of you are under a ton of snow, cold, and other wintery stuff but it is like 70 degrees here, the Bradford pears and Quinces are blooming and the bare deciduous trees have a soft look, like you are looking at them through a scarf from the light green leaf buds all over them.
Our goats are huge and ready to have their babies and the chickens are increasing egg production every day. The pasture that has been so bare for the past couple of years is sporting a shaggy look, like a ten year old boy that hates haircuts..and I have one of those. It seems not having horses is going to add rather a lot of mowing to an all ready full schedule.
Oh, and I had told some of you I had my hair done differently last time..so therefore the picture..I used to model here and there but I don’t think I am so photogenic anymore..LOL! The late nights are showing for sure.

If you are planning on having Chef Gordon Ramsay over for dinner you could serve this risotto. It is so good that even Chef Perfection would love it.
And if you aren’t having him over for dinner? You should make it anyway. Your family deserves it. You are that special. And this is that good.
